It's just round the corner from Catania's famous market, and it's on Via Etnea, which a street full of shops. Perfect location for shopping. Opposite are Giardini Bellini. The staff were very helpful, and mostly the hotel is spotless clean, crisp white sheets and towels, and clean rooms. Nothing extraordinary but very good value for money...will definitely go there again
The hotel is supplied with WIFI but I couldn't get any connection from our room, however I used to take my laptop down at the reception area and use internet there

Oh my goodness: Booked.net is such a discovery! This is the first hotel (of 3) I have stayed in thanks to them and the accuracy of the reviews has been spot on. So I hope I can do you all justice myself now. Domus Catania looks pretty un-prepossessing from outside, but it couldnt have been more ideal for us. The location is amazing. Although our room felt peaceful and quiet, you are smack in the midddle of a bustling elegant high street with easy access by walking to the main sight-seeing places, shops, gardens, restaurants, cafes, bars etc... The staff were delightful, and even more so with our little boys. The breakfast was good. The rooms were far better than we had hoped and it is great value for money. I recommend Dumus Catania wholeheartedly.

Good location. The hotel is not special, just a good value for money, but don't expect any more. The staff was very kind, we could even park for free at their parking.

1. The Hotel is right smack in the center of all activity in Catania, and it is on the principal commercial street where one can find all the high street names and the best restaurants. 2. The staff is very friendly and helpful - although a basic knowledge of Italian will help a lot.

The hotel was conveniently located near many attractions and provided easy access to restaurants and cafes. The room was clean and comfortable, with accommodating staff. The breakfast had a good coffee selection and the option to purchase additional drinks at a reasonable price.
Technical problems with the room were frustrating, with AC and door locker malfunctions. Bathroom drainage was also an issue, causing flooding which resulted in poorly timed clean-up attempts.

The hotel's location is second to none, as it is right on the city's main shopping street and opposite the airport bus station. the central location allows easy access to explore the city. Rooms are clean and provide great views of the courtyard. Reception staff is friendly and very helpful.
The breakfast selection is limited and disappointing, leaving some guests feeling unsatisfied.

Very personal and helpful attitude. Very good buffet breakfast. Staff helped to arrange Etna tour and after check-out allowed to leave our bags for 3 more hours. Very nice and clean double room with a view on Etna mount from the balcony. Hotel location is on one of the main streets of Catania though windows can be shut completely and you don't hear the noise from the street. It was possible to get a bus from the Catania airport that had a stop near the hotel. Buss ticket 1.30 eur.
Poor English but it was not a problem.
